Weiss Kreuz drama CDs + Utena fansubs = one EXTREMELY BROKEN BRAIN.
(I mean. To emerge from two or three solid hours of Bringing The World Revolution and jump right into Koyasu Takehito as Aya yelling "Ore wa... omae-tachi no OKAASAN!" ... just... never again.)
Mrph. I need to write some Seishirou; my muse is getting testy and fidgety. He's like a big cat sometimes--if you don't pay attention to him, he bristles and shoots you sideways looks and makes you wonder if he's hacked up a hairball in your shoe.
Also, the PS2 came, and my GOD it is a beautiful piece of machinery. *geekugeeku*
(Edit: XD *waves* Glad you like the layout!)

Seven hours on the way to West Point, and he didn't shut up once.

...okay, one more entry here, because this has been very much on my mind. ^_^
So a couple of weeks ago I reread one of my favourite books,
Jane Eyre. And it put me in the mood to write something very Victorian and elaborate and ever-so-slightly cryptic--preferably a letter, since I have a bunch of inks and nib pens and bits and bobs of interesting stationery. So I expressed this desire to a pair of very good friends, and they thought it was a cool idea, so I've been sending them letters. In very Victorian language, in various interesting kinds of ink on various interesting kinds of paper.
And then I started getting letters back, and sending letters to friends other than those two.
It's kind of funny, because these are people with whom I can, every day over AIM, talk about things like porn and politics and computer code, and then on paper they're
my lord or
my lady or
my good angel. And we learn stuff about each other both ways--though the thing I was most surprised to learn was that people I didn't expect to respond to the insanely long sentences and the weird nicknames actually got a kick out of playing along. ^__^ I love how my friends surprise me.

What do you do when you're given an hour and a half to pack? That's right, procrastinate!
... -_-;;
See, this weekend, we all have to haul up to West Point so granddad can have people pay attention to him and, in fact, basically honour him for something my dad did. While I have promised my little sister (because I adore her) that I will refrain from verbally clocking the old fart, I get the feeling this will mostly be accomplished by virtue of my taking my writing pad, a great deal of my music, and my Emergency Excedrin, and by reminding myself that I'm going to support my father.
So--I'll be back Sunday. See you, space cowboy.

So they had a really great deal at FYE today: buy one 50-pack of CD-Rs and get one free.
Yes, one
fifty-pack of blank CDs.
I'm still not sure whether it made up for me embarrassing myself in front of the adorable clerk.

So the other night I was talking to my dad, and there was an orange in the fruit bowl on the counter, and it smelled so good that I had to have it, so I peeled it and popped a section into my mouth.
And it tasted kinda funny, so I gave a section to my dad and asked him what he thought.
We both agreed the orange tasted faintly like alcohol.
So let this be a lesson to all y'all:
you can get b00ze from ANYTHING.

Shoi's comment on the layout:
"Ah, yes... Seishirou in that reclining pose, secure in the knowledge that he has just made someone gay."
Seishirou, you magnificent bastard.

So, because my sister and I could not keep our little feets off the DDR pads until the PS2 arrives, we borrowed a PS1 and the original mix from her friend Max.
OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW.
I mean, WTF? Why is it that two- and three-footers seem infinitely harder for me to get the hang of than the three-, four-, and five-footers I regularly do on DDRMax?
...owwwwwwwwww my poor legs.

Hee. I am way too easily amused.
