music: nothing
this week's targets of my unrelenting hatred: my own hormones, my math teacher, and the writers for buffy the vampire slayer

...but on a far lighter note, if I can make it to Monday, I'm done and saved.

There will probably be an essay about this weekend's work up on the blog around 4:30 AM Monday morning.... ~.~ Stupid College Writing.

i've got to see my doctor about this itchy pentagram shaped rash

music: "get in line", barenaked ladies
rather angry essays completed: one
clamp-style armbands to embroider: five

Since I'll be at home with my PMS and my fragile ego tonight, and unable to stomach having much more than a glass of water, there is much writing and drawing and embroidering going on. Sometimes I'd like to give my brain a mecha and sic it on my hormones.

Of course, the mere idea of giving my brain a mecha probably means I should stay in the basement and watch cute, non-brain-breaking movies for the rest of the week. And then tie myself up with a pillowcase until my yaoi gets here.

What I'll probably end up doing is working on The X Fic That Would Not Die, drawing CLAMP men in compromising positions, making more armbands, and whining about everything. So if I'm a horrible beast to anyone I know this week, please keep in mind that I'm also easily distracted, and will probably stop bitching if you dangle something shiny.

On a totally unrelated note, Fuubaru.

BOUT TIME!!

I'm finally getting a copy of the CD I ordered back in February. That sure took long enough.

"why are you crying, pop?" "i'm confused..."

music: this (yes, i know i'm a geek)
yesterday's blog quote was identified by: the incredible ren-sama

The only thing about "Moonstruck" that really gets me is that every time I watch it I crave Italian food. Well, more precisely, I want to cook it.

Aha, Bridget, you finally feel the sway of my eeeevil influence! XD One of these days, I will pull you all down into the dark pit of my musical tastes. Actually, there is going to be a local production of "HMS Pinafore" here... *cackle*

(All those of you who are curious about the music link--no, it wasn't late, and no, I wasn't tired. I have no excuse for combining CLAMP and musicals other than that I enjoy both immensely.)

I had something to say today, but I completely forgot what it was. Kya.

kelffink cho tenkha. vo olk kelffink ulls?

music: "leave you far behind", lunatic calm
weird dreams in the past twelve hours: two

By the way, anyone who can identify the source on that quote gets a reward.

I have one more class to go before the last day of classes is officially over with. Then tomorrow I can sleep in, work on papers, and watch "Moonstruck", which is possibly one of the bestest movies ever (and whose DVD box has inspired a future layout image).

Hakskeekah Krokhon. ^_~

with an eff and an arr and an ee and a dee and an f-r-e-d fred!

music: "song of love" and "the spanish panic", once upon a mattress
chat: nobody
hours of sleep under my belt: seventeen

Well, that was a lot of anime. Next year, though, I think I'll find out when they're showing the things I want to see and just stay for those... lack of sleep makes me a bit obnoxious and loud, not to mention inclined to whine about certain things.

Today's brief rant:
I think I'm too much of a sucker for couples in series--live-action, manga, anime, etc--who have no romantic resolution. Yes, I appreciate tension as a dramatic device, but I'm getting immensely frustrated with close calls. I need to see some kissing, dammit.
Renfield sat through this rant and then remarked, "Well, sounds like you need some yaoi."
This, folks, is why I'm her priestess.

o.O

My hair is doing a Yuuto-flip in the front. You know, there's that one bit of his bangs that kinda flips out a little, away from his head?

...which might kind of explain why I've been smirking evilly at inanimate objects.

take me out tonight... me~yow

music: "beethoven virus", banya
bottles of limeade for uberfest thus far: three
foodstuffs and presents i still need to prepare: ...yeah, lisa's going to have much kitchen time tomorrow

Wow. Radio stations rock. More on my brief stint at the oldies station later--all I'm going to say right now is that it is quite possibly the most fun I've ever had doing a school project. Ever.

I do kind of wish I'd told dad to drop me off at Pump It Up after the request hour, though. I'm having a brief pang of loneliness... I guess I'm a little sobered up in general because mom's medication has been making her slightly fuzzy. I am really not the type of person who has a steel-trap mind, but in the past few days there were things I remembered that she didn't, which feels somehow wrong. I know I shouldn't be worried, because by all accounts the doctors should be able to make the cancer go squish in a matter of months, but it's slightly troubling all the same.

But on a lighter note, the kimono I ordered came today! They're beautiful. I can't wait for the proud new recipients to see them. (Ren-sama, the haori is so utterly you--the silk has a really lovely grain, very subtle and, of course, very black. It's going to look completely gorgeous on you.)

kung fu fighting... da na na na na na na...

subject line brought to you by: ...i... i don't know
days to uberfest: two
most pathetically funny song title ever: "if you want it to be good (girl, get yourself a bad boy)"

You'd think that someone as preoccupied with the Sleeping Beauty story as I am would have no problems getting a good night's sleep.
Every night I hang suspended in my dreams (in a position so specific I could draw it from memory), watching the action, which I barely remember later. All I know is that when I wake up from these dreams, I feel completely spent. Which is funny, considering that all I do in my dreams is just kind of hang there and watch.

Blerg.

Anyways... I'm going to try re-installing my DJing program after Uberfest (aka The Big-Ass Twenty-Four-Hour Anime Blowout)... hey Tochira, I forget, did you have music to go with that lyric you wrote? It eats my brain. XD

Also! Emmy, I'm going to do you another longhaired bish picture, the one I did seems so little now that I look at it... plus I know I can do a better colouring job...

And yes, K-Tan, I have drawn Not-Potter. He's absolutely adorable. I'd draw him with Yuya but I'm still trying to decide what colour hair Yuya has. Or maybe I'm too tired to remember...

Hooray for unexpected social blogging. XD
