...oddly enough, after on-and-off craving for several days, it's completely gone now. (And I don't feel so weird now that I've been informed by a friend, well, you never do quite get over it.)
^_^
In the Wow, That's Some Good News Department, I think I'm ready to start doing costume commissions. I'm going to start small with CLAMP-style armbands-- a pop, and yes, I'm going to scan one later in the week--and work my way up. I love making those armbands, and I'm really proud of the Seven Angels one I made for my ouji-sama, so this should actually be fun. ^_^
I'm also skipping work on Saturday to go to a con in my cute little Subaru costume. Goodbye paycheck, hellooooooooooooooooooooo manga! 8D~~~~~
Social bloggage later; right now it's so fecking cold in my room that my fingers are about to fall off. T_T
Never mind that I quit eight months ago. Never mind that cloves are expensive or that I already have a sore throat from reading to granddad without a break for four hours. Never mind that my parents are home and that I threw out my lighter.
The Good: Was looking through one of Granddad's newspapers and have a free pass to "The Ring" next Thursday.
The Bad: Jerry Falwell said he believes Mohammed, the founder of Islam, was a terrorist.
The Ugly: Granddad agrees.
At work, but had chunk of TR9, so must HTML it before I go nuts.
*`-,--
"Nataku, please step back."
Gathering the white folds of its scarf into the crook of one arm, it moved back a few paces as the cables on the floor began to twitch and hum with power. BEAST was tensing for the hunt, almost rumbling with anticipation as Satsuki's slight body settled into the "cockpit", her heartbeat amplified to a soft, resonant thud-thud-thud as it synchronized with the rhythm of incoming data streams.
"What is Satsuki doing?” Nataku asked.
Her voice came back metallic but powerfully loud. "Locating our next strike. And giving Sumeragi-san a wakeup call."
Belatedly--read over "Two Truths And A Lie" again when I'd recovered from being sick, and I actually liked it. Didn't screw up Seishirou as badly as I thought I would. And let me tell you, Seishirou is a difficult son of a bitch; he tends to fight me tooth and nail when I try to write him, except in Tabula Rasa where he's deady dead dead and only in very easy flashbacks/dream sequences.
Why yes, I am in a weird mood. And yes, it may have something to do with the brand new lab coat I'm wearing. XD
A little social bloggage before I skibble off:
*hug* Ko-san, thanks for the compliment! *blush* And dude, those are indeed the best sheets ever. Ever. In the history of anything. Though I would abuse them so badly. (And, really, you don't have to bother with "-sama". I have a fanboy who calls me "Ham-sama"--no, seriously--which has kind of turned me off of the term ^^;;; ) Goddammit, I can't have my soul owned by Nightwing and CLAMP at the same time. You suck. ^_~ Hee, no matter how hard I try, the phrase "MOMIJI GOTS DA SHOTA!" makes me want to laugh so hard I choke.
And now for a semi-serious question: NaNoWriMo
Tabula Rasa, thus far incomplete, is by FFnet's account 19,921 words long.
I have a month to plot something entirely original.
If someone makes a bet with me, I'll do it.
So sick. So goddamn sick. Have been fighting throwing up all morning.
Luckily writing keeps me sane. Did an hourfic for Vul's challenge; find it on CLAMPesque. "Two Truths And A Lie". Want die now. So sick. Will not leave bed tomorrow, swear on the graves of my ancestors.
