And now, a day late for Subaru's birthday--death, weird dreams, and a cute little kiss.
Yeah. TR10 is finally done.
And now... I continue to be chewed-on by fic. x_o
I'm capable of showing up exactly on time for various appointments, arriving early for work, getting there before the dealers' room opens at cons, and yet TR10 is going to be about twelve hours too late to coincide with Subaru's birthday.
But at least it's almost done! Almost! *bludgeons*
I should be permanently cut off from using the digital camera as an impromptu scanner.
(Katsucon report later, I promise. LJ ate the first one.)
MWAH HAH KATSUCON RAWK
And I still have one functional lung! And art! And a Subaru poster! And, no thanks to a certain walking Keiichi plushie, renewed ficdrive!
In other news, here's hoping everyone got home safely. I'll type up my report when I'm a little less snowblind. @_o
...wow. After a week of sitting through granddad ordering expensive valentines for people he's met only once and people he's had no contact with in months, I come in today and there's a bunch of flowers waiting for me.
Of course, in my slightly-fucked-up-by-illness state of mind, I wanted to eat it.
Katsucon's gonna be a trip and a half, the way things are going... XD
It's finished.
I mean, it's finished. My cosplay costume. Done. Just needs some reinforcement for the embroidery, but it's fucking done oh my god.
*stands on chair and fucking dances*
You know it's going to be an exciting day when you suddenly find that you need to hack your own cell phone inbox.
No, really.
One week exactly to con-time, and my cosplay entry, though registered, is only about 75% done.
The big important bits are finished, and they look really beautiful, but several key parts still need to be done.
Somehow I'm not the least bit worried.
CONS CURE EVERYTHING.
Okay, well, maybe not, but my con-host is also (hopefully) going to give me Mahoromatic, and the costume itself is so close to being done I can taste it (mmm, starchy). And I have fic brewing, which I haven't in weeks. XD
Dude, so many people are coming to Katsu. XD (I can still count on dinner with you after karaoke, right?)
Oh, by the way. You. Expect a package after Katsucon, and a letter before. XD
Had to have surgery this morning to take a mole off my neck. It wasn't really that bad, except for the doctor cheerfully telling me I was "a bleeder".
Thanks, Dr. Fuuma.
Not much else to report, except the Special Effects Cherry Bomb Hair Dye Haiku:
Hikaru, Sei-chan
Have a love child. Who is it?
RackhamRose, of course!
XD Pictures to follow.
